I grew up before video games. It seems like the youth don’t play timeless games anymore. My parents play cards with a weekly group.
When I was in high school we had a chess club, a trivial pursiut club, etc. What do high school kids play today?
I like to play chess, and scrabble sometimes when hanging out with my friends (outside of school). Sometimes I’ll play clue. Don’t like monopoly too much because it takes forever to play a game. I’m up for a game of Risk anytime, though.
There are a few card games I play regularly with my friends: cheat, and Egyptian pyramid.
Yes, I am in high school.
Now the Timeless games ARE Video Games, and you can play all the others on the Internet

A lot of high school kids I know play poker. When I was in high school and my friends and I weren’t playing video games we were playing lots of different card games and board games. We enjoyed playing them.

My teenaged kids and the kids in our neighborhood play chess, scrabble, monopoly, risk, as well as World of Warcraft and other on-line games. Bridge and Pinochle don’t seem to be much in favor. Poker is sometimes played, particularly the ubiquitous Texas Hold Em.

Yep, we still play classic games like Scrabble, chess, monopoly, etc. The Guidance center is stocked with timeless games and stuffed with students playing them. My sibs and I play Clue, though it’s an electronic version.
Highschool kids mostly play videogames, though, like consoles you plug to the tv or handheld ones. I play those too.

My cousin who is 11 years old loves to play Scrabble! She plays it once a week with me at Scrabulous – http://www.scrabulous.com

Of Course! Just in a more updated way, which would be on the internet.
