Has a "professional" chess player ever lost a game in a way that usually only beginners do?

As common as pro sports players ending up on the blooper reels.
Or kinda like the 2009 fiasco when poker pro Phil Ivey mucked a winning back-door flush with his pocket 8’s when he forgot to notice four clubs in the community cards.
Chess is not shown live on TV much, therefore you don’t see the carnage. But it’s out there.
Where there’s competition, there’s blundering!
maybe……………
im not sure

When you say in a way that usually only beginners do: most likely you are referring to a)carelessness and losing pieces/materials or b) overlooking a simple checkmate.
In the first case, this sometimes does happen when the pro chess player usually a gm/im miscalculates a certain exchange which sometimes do happen.
In the second case, this is very rare but when the pro chess player is not feeling well, having a bad day or a headache or simply worried about something, this can easily affect their thinking ability and allow such mistakes to happen.. This is only the case for the lower ranked ones as the better players seldom make any moves without first appraising the situation and considering all tactical possibilities.

Since a "professional" s one who gets paid, and lots of class prizes have been awarded foe beginners, I guess, "Yes."
